Bill Payment Options

Jackson County Utility Authority offers a wide variety of convenient payment options for our customers. Simply choose the option that best suits your needs.

Online Utility Bill Payment


For a fast and convenient way to pay your Utility Bill, Click the Blue "UTILITY PAYMENT" button below, using our secure online payment portal. 

After you Click the “Utility Payment” button you will be directed to the JCUA Self Service site.  Click on Citizen Self Service, this is where you will Register to set-up your User ID and Password.  You will need your Account Number and Customer ID Number (CID).

Payment cannot be made for more than the amount due or if there is not a balance due.  A convenience fee of 3.25% (a $2.50 minimum) will be applied to all Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit card transactions.

Payment By Mail

If paying by check or money order through the mail, please send all payments with your payment coupon. To avoid late fees, please mail your payment at least five-seven business days before the due date specified on your bill.

 

Payment By Automated Phone Service

Customers may pay their utility bill using our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system by dialing 1-877-822-8435.  Customers will need their account number and customer number to complete the transaction.

Please note, a convenience fee of 3.25% (a $2.50 minimum) plus an additional $0.50 transaction fee will be applied to all IVR/Phone Payments.

 

Payment By Credit Card

Customers may pay bill via credit card in person or over the phone using the Automated Phone Service. Please note, there will be a Credit Card processing assessment per credit card payment, by the Card-Issuing Bank.

 

Automatic Bank Draft

The worry-free way to pay your water bill. With this service, the amount of your monthly bill is automatically deducted from your bank account and credited to your utility account. There is no set-up fee or charge associated with this method of payment. To set up Automated Bank Draft, simply download and fill out the ACH Recurring Debit Form (if available) located in the Forms & Reports Section and drop it off or mail it to our office, along with a voided check.

 

Payment Through Financial Institution Online Bill Pay

Many financial institutions such as major banks offer their customers the ability to pay their bills via an online bill payment service (through your bank's website). Normally, these services debit the customer's checking or savings account to pay the bill. Depending on the financial institution, they may or may not charge a fee for the service. Payments may take up to seven business days to post to the customer's account. Please consult with your bank for more information.

NOTE: When paying in person, customer should bring the entire bill.  To avoid longer wait times, please note that Mondays, Fridays and the first day after a holiday are normally very busy.

 

After Hours / Night Drop Box

The JCUA Customer Service Office located at 11000 Highway 57, Vancleave, MS 39565 is the only JCUA location with an After Hours / Night Drop Box. Check and Money Order payments only, NO CASH. Payments dropped off after hours will be posted the next business day.
